Make sure you have the KDEDIR and QTDIR environment variables set up
correctly to point at the KDE and Qt installation paths (respectively).

You will need the development files for KDE, RPM and bzip2 to build this
package.

First try the simple way:

#> ./configure

If that fails because your RPM development files are located in a
non-standard directory, you may want to fiddle around with the
--with-rpm=<DIRNAME> switch (run "./configure --help" for details).

Once the configure script has completed, you can build the package
by running

#> make

and install it by running

#> make install

In order to have the "RPM Database" entry in Konqueror's sidebar, you need
to remove the dirtree subdirectory in $(HOME)/.kde/share/apps/konqueror. KDE
will sync up with the system-wide dirtree hierarchy when you restart
konqueror.
