public final class MiddlePass

extends Object

Permutes a set of batches and related files so that the resulting index has lexicographically ordered terms.

After FirstPass, the term index follows the order in which the different terms have been met. By preprocessing a set of batches with this class, terms are permuted so that the resulting term index coincides with lexicographical order. All data files previously produced by FirstPass are permuted accordingly.
